Shirt/sweatshirt to match color of tulle/batting
Optional: matching lipstick and face glitter
Alternative option: pink, blue, purple dye and cotton quilt batting
Instructions:
1. If dying batting, start a few days ahead of time to LIGHTLY dye the white quilt batting to the shade of pink, blue or purple desired.
2. Put on white shoes, socks and pants (or shorts and tights).
3. Put on lipstick and face glitter. Girls can put hair in a bun or pigtails and use tulle to make big bows around hairdoo.
4. Pin or velcro the end of the tulle/batting to the bottom of your shirt/sweatshirt in the back.
5. Start wrapping yourself (or get a friend's help) with the tulle/batting from your hips and work your way up toward the top. Make the top part around your shoulders wind around your shoulders in a criss/cross section across your chest.
6. End by wrapping tulle/batting loosely around neck area tucking end down back inside and pin/velcro to the neck of your shirt/sweatshirt in back.
Other information to consider:
Wrapping too tightly around your hips may cause problems when you need to go to the bathroom. Wrap loosely to create an "airy" feeling of cotton candy.
Consider doing this in a group with each member a different color.
Buy some small individual bags of cotton candy at a candy or wholesale store and hand them out as "treats"!
Have Fun!
