What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger

Estimated time required to make this costume:
1 hour

Difficulty level:
Almost as easy - some sewing
A bit more advanced - sewing definitely required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
infant/child footed sleeper, red and pink work really well

3/4 yard star patterned mesh fabric

Instructions:
Cut 3 inches off the width of fabric using wide basting stitches, baste around neck of sleeper.

Cut 3 inch wide strip from fabric, cut in half, baste around wrists of sleeper.

Remaining fabric, cut in half, using fabric doubled, ruffle and stitch around waist of sleeper.

Make a small wand or broom to finish off. Add a hat if your tyke will keep one on.

Other information to consider:
This is a great, simple and (for my area) most important: WARM costume. If you make the stitches large, you can remove them after and still have a great sleeper for baby.
