A dance skirt (you can find them at a dancing store)
A leotard
White leggings
Spray-on glitter for clothing (you can find this at a craft store)
Wire
Floral tape
Fake flowers
Ribbon
Ballet slippers
Body glitter
Wings (from your local department store)

Instructions:
Take your white leggings and spray with the glitter to make pants.

To make floral crown, take a semi-thick wire and estimate the length to fit around the child's head, allowing an inch extra. Then make a hoop and twist the ends together.

Take the floral tape and wrap the wire. As you do this, tape in flowers. Then take ribbon and make a bow in the back and let the ribons hang down.

When finished, put on and Viola! Cute pixie.

Also, if you have a little bag like the one that comes with the board game SCRABBLE, you can place craft glitter inside for pixie dust. Make sure to put a lot of glitter on to make it last and for effect. Girls of all ages will have fun in their cute fairy costumes.
