4 Star Costume Rating

What age group is this costume for?
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time required to make this costume:
3-4 hours

Difficulty level:
Almost as easy - some sewing

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
Sleeveless A-line Dress (we bought a pattern to make this)
Dangly Earrings or supplies to make your own (small styrofoam balls, white glue, sequins, earring kit - all from craft store)
Belt
Fun Tights
Go-Go Boots

Instructions:
If you can find a dress at Good Will - that's great, but we are sewing a simple shift type dress. I'm making this for my daughter and 2 friends. Dresses will be the same except in different colors -- one pink, one blue, one yellow.
I will add belt loops so a belt can be put on dress at hip level. We made earrings by gluing sequins to a styrofoam ball and then putting a piece of wire through the ball attached to an earring hook. Girls will wear lots of light blue eye makeup, false eyelashes, white lipstick, ratted hair in a flip. Bought 60's "flower power" tights at The Limited Too. Now I just have to find the go-go boots!
