What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time required to make this costume:
A good hard work day

Difficulty level:
A bit more advanced - sewing definitely required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
Black sweatshirt
Black sweatpants
A lot of white material
A little black material
Buttons/snaps
Black cream makeup
White cream makeup
A big black fluff ball

Instructions:
1. Cut the white material so it can slip over the head. It should be like a big sleeveless shirt that reaches down to the thighs.
2. Attach snaps so it can snap on the thighs and under the legs.
3. Sew the black fluff ball to the costume for the tail.
4. Take the black material, make two ears and a hat looking thing that fits around the child's head without covering the face. Add a snap on the bottom so the child can put the material on their head and snap it on the bottom. Sew the ears onto the hat thing.
5. Put on the sweatshirt and pants.
6. Slip the white "belly" over the shirt. Snap it on.
7. Put the head and ears on. Snap it.
8. Apply white makeup all over the face and black makeup around the eyes and on the tip of the nose.

Other information to consider:
You may want to wear black sneakers.
