What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time required to make this costume:
30 minutes to an hour

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
Blue Jeans
White T-Shirt
Comb
Pomade
Converse All Stars or motorcycle boots
Buddy Holly style glasses (optional)
or Sun Glasses

Instructions:
Dampen hair and put the pomade in it. Try and comb into a fifties style hair do. If you are not sure what style to go with, look at a Bill Haley or Elvis picture. Put on the jeans, T shirt, and shoes (or boots). Cuff up the jeans about an inch or so. Carry the comb in your back pocket. Put on glasses if you like.

Other information to consider:
Use words like "hey Daddy-o" or Squares (people who aren't cool) sat terms like "Hey wanna race?" or "Wanna rumble?" Always check your hair with your hand or comb.
For older kids (high school or older) put a cigarette behind your ear and cuff up a pack of cigarettes in your T-shirt sleeve.
