I find this Pokemon craziness a chance to teach our children what marketing is all about. Just because someone tells us we have to have something doesn't mean we really want it. Wow! What could be done with all this money being spent on Pokemon stuff that in a matter of months, certainly years, will be in land fills. And then, the marketing execs will have our children lusting after something else. As parents, maybe we could take these opportunities to teach our children the meaning of balance and what we should learn from advertising. Just because they say we need it or want it, doesn't mean we really do.
