Brief summary:
Juniper is a princess in a small kingdom whose privileged life in interrupted when she is called to learn about her special abilities by living with a strange old woman named Euny. Euny is very wise but has no interests in the comforts of life.

Under Euny's tutelage, Juniper learns about magic, herbs and healing arts, and then returns to her home to fight against the curse her power-hungry aunt has placed on the kingdom.
