Brief summary:
Monster under my Bed genre; the thang is, the li'l monster who sleeps under the bed is sure there's a Very Scary Boy sleeping on top of his bed, even though the Monster mommy says that surely can't be so.

One night Boy and Monster come face to face, and scare each other silly. The moms do not believe this, of course, and issue separate Go Back to Bed edicts. Boy and Monster have to face their fears and talk to each other. Once they figure out they are not going to become Boy or Monster Chow, all is hunky-dory, of course. In the end, to convince their moms that Boys/Monsters are real, they trade places on top of/under the bed, and say in unison, "Oh, Mommy, come quick!"
