Brief summary:
This book contains 44 read-aloud classic titles. From Good Night Moon and Stellaluna to Curious George and Where the Wild Things Are, you and your child will have great fun revisiting all of your favorite stories. How did they get all of these stories into one big book that you can still actually carry you ask? By eliminating and downsizing some of the illustrations. This can be a bummer for some of the titles especially if they're your favorites. But this beautiful book is a great gift and keepsake for 1999 and a great reference for parents who want to get a sneak peek at books before they buy. The book also includes capsule biographies of the 62 writers and artists and color-coded running heads indicating age levels.
