Describe the material:
A resource book for teachers who want to enrich the experience of children below grade 4. Many children are not identified until then and by then they have become bored and frustrated. This book offers solutions for identifying and serving the young gifted child in the regular classroom without "singling him out."

It teaches teachers how to identify the young gifted child. For example: Just because a child has sloppy handwriting or is socially/emotionally immature, this does not mean the child is not gifted in other areas. The book addresses these topics and more, such as compressing curriculum, etc.
