Plot:
In the title episode, Arthur, to his dismay, discovers that he can't go to camp with Buster. Instead the family is going on a beach vacation. Heavy traffic, bad weather, and a run down motel, get the trip off to a miserable start. Eventually the Reeds find ways to have fun. In "Grandpa Dave's Old Country Farm," Arthur and D.W. arrive at their beloved Grandpa's farm to find it in disrepair. The old man stubbornly refuses help in maintaining his place, until the kids finally convince him that he can no longer do everything himself.
