Brief description of this software product:
What is the ôplotö of the program, including its characters, setting, etc: Madeline takes kids on an exciting trip to the Louvre and the Musee dÆOrsay in Paris where they can jump into paintings by Degas, Van Gogh, Escher, Da Vinci, Magritte, and other artists. Each painting offers a different world to explore, with a variety of fun and educational activities. Measure a new suit for a customer, color patterns by counting in groups of odd or even numbers, match odd shapes to complete a puzzle, solve math problems and be the first to climb a wacky set of stairs, remove blocks from a pyramid by adding pairs of numbers, solve addition problems while surrounded by cave paintings, or help a group of dancers remember their steps in the correct order. Each activity has 3 levels of difficulty, and 40 activities may be printed for play away from the computer. Children earn coins for successfully completing activities, which they can use to buy stamps, postcards, and pictures from the Museum Store.
