Brief description of this software product:
This is a Product by Edmark that my sons really enjoyed. It works on a phonics based recognition system that involves the use of a headset and sound/word repetition. It is animated and the children were learning even while they thought they were only playing. My 6 year old reads extremely well and my 4 year old repeats the sounds when prompted by the computer. Neither child has tired of the program and we have had it for 2 years. By saying the sound or reading the word clouds they even can navigate a plane in one part. It also works on rhymes and beginning spelling with beginning and ending sounds.
