Instructions for using this technique:
I took construction paper and wrote rules on them. One on front door to stop (red) - Do not open door. Bedroom door - Clean room, put clothes away, put toys away, pick up shoes. Refrigerator door - Don't open door, ask first. Closet door - Ask for a game.

Other information parents should consider before using this technique:
We tried everything else before using this one. Child must be able to read.
