Age group(s) for which this technique is helpful:
Elementary School
Middle School

Primarily used to improve behavior:
Both At Home and At School

Instructions for using this technique:
In a three ring binder (the type you would put a small report in) fix pages that contain a space for every subject child has. He/she is to write down all homework assignments, teacher initials saying she saw the work copied down. After child finishes homework, parent signs saying that you saw completed work. We are doing this now for our son who is in fifth grade and it works great!

Other information parents should consider before using this technique:
If he brings it home with work written down and teachers initials he is praised and rewarded. Everyone has to cooperate in this for it to work.
