Age group(s) for which this technique is helpful:
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School

Primarily used to improve behavior:
Both At Home and At School

Instructions for using this technique:
My son is 6 and we've used this technique from the beginning. He takes Ritalin, but still needs work in some areas. We decided to give him more to do. He helps with dinner, washing clothes, cleaning windows, ect. The more GROWNUP chores we give him, the better he responds to us, and the more calm he seems to be.

Other information parents should consider before using this technique:
This is something that can be done with any child, not just ADHD children.
