ADHD Behavior Modification Techniques

Age group(s) for which this technique is helpful:
Elementary School
Middle School

Primarily used to improve behavior:
At Home

Instructions for using this technique:
I used a chart so my daughter could see what level she was on.
Green = All normal activities
Yellow = Room and Outside Only(no tv, etc.)
Red = Sitting at table with book to read, pencil and paper to write (no drawing)
Red Star = Sitting in chair only
2 marks and you move down a level.
1 mark for any inappropriate behavior.
Beginning of new day goes up one level.


Other information parents should consider before using this technique:
Child can go down very quickly if very defiant.
