How do you use this outlining system?
Instead of writing an outline, your child simply talks it out to a friend or parent, who writes it down as she is talking. Or better yet, have your child talk the outline into a tape recorder. She then plays it back when she sits down to write the paper.

Other important information:
Oral outlining is for a child that is highly verbal.
