How do you use this outlining system?
The Roman numeral model is a system that organizes information hierarchically, using Roman numerals, letters, and numbers. Each Roman numeral stands for a main topic, each letter for a sub-topic, each numeral for a detail: I, A, 1. Each symbol gets its own line and they follow each other in descending order, allowing your child to organize his paper from the broadest information to the most specific.

Other important information:
This is a great structure for a child who is a linear/concrete thinker.
