Description of reading game:
There is a page in the Reader's Digest magazine called "It Pays to Increase Your Word Power." It's like a multiple choice quiz, and it's fun to choose (or guess) the right answers.

I had a teacher who used to clip those pages out of the magazines, and let us quiz each other in class. Getting as many as possible correct was a source of pride, so we tended to remember when we had guessed wrong about the definitions, and would later get 'em right on subsequent encounters.

As I got older, I continued to read the Word Power pages, at my parent's home, and at my grandparent's. As an adult, I still read that page, plus all the Humor/Jokes. ;-) It's still one magazine that I will grab if I have to sit in a waiting room, or for a day of leisure.

Other comments or suggestions:
Either the words on that page are getting Easier, or a lifetime of reading has amounted to something...my "batting average" is Way better than it was in grade school! ;-)
