Description of reading game:
Dell Pencil Puzzles and Word Games is available at grocery stores and some bookstores for $3-4 dollars. It has a variety of puzzles at many different challenge levels. There are no crossword puzzles, but all kinds of other word games, that could interest someone from 3rd grade reading level to college-educated.

Other comments or suggestions:
I have been getting Dell Pencil Puzzles and Word Games since I was a young child. I always had one with me at the hospital after my kids were born. Now I occasionally use it as part of our homeschool day. Sometimes we all do puzzles together, and sometimes I set certain ones aside for the child who'd enjoy it most or be best suited for it. And I have begun to create some schooltime puzzles based on the ones in the magazines, using topics we are studying or making them a bit easier for the younger kids.
