Description of reading game:
For pre-readers, make some alphabet stickers and put them about the house together, labelling the refrigerator with R, and so on. There is a post-it glue stick that could be used as well; it works just like post-it notes do, so that anything you use it with will be removable.

For beginning readers, label items with the whole word, highlighting blends or vowel sounds if you like.

What reading skill(s) does this game use or develop in children?
Letters, sound and word recognition, spelling.

Other comments or suggestions:
For foreign language beginners, label the item with the new word including the article, such as "le ciel," and label the doors of rooms as well, for instance, "la salle de bain."
