Materials needed (if applicable):
index cards, marker, scissors, magazine clippings, glue

Description of reading game:
Write a letter of the alphabet on each index card. Then cut out pictures (bat, car...etc) and glue on separate cards. Shuffle cards (do not mix picture and alphabet cards together), and spread out like the 'Memory' card game. Have child match the letter with the correct picture. Ex: child pics "S" and tries matching it with the picture card "Snake".
