Easing emotional trauma

Describe the situation or problem.
An eating disorder appearing out of the blue after rejection from either parent after divorce.

My son seemed to be coping well, It's been almost 3 years now and we've just found out he has an eating disorder.

What advice can you offer?
Give your child all of the love and help you can. Show them how much you care.

Please add any additional comments or suggestions.
Tell them that the absent parent *does* care, but at the moment they are so hurt themselves, they just can't cope either.
