Costume Safety

Describe your safety tip:
Consider using face paints instead of masks with your children's costumes. Masks can be awkward and ill-fitting, making it difficult for your child to see well as they're walking around outside in the dark. If you use face paint, glue or glitter on your child's skin, make sure they're nontoxic. Be aware of children's allergic reactions to these products. If your child is wearing a mask, make certain (s)he can see well and breathe easily.
