This tip is for
Street Safety

Describe your safety tip:
It is VERY important for all kids to know what time it is while out trick or treating. Even if they are in a group, all parents should make it mandatory that ALL kids going out trick or treating wear a wristwatch, preferably one that lights up in the dark. NO pocket or clip watches! Make sure it is a wristwatch, and that they have it fastened snugly around their WRIST before they go out. This prevents them losing it and will keep it easy to find and read, especially when hands are full.
If your child does not have a wristwatch, buy him one.
If your child doesn't think a watch looks right with his costume, long sleeves will easily conceal it. OR, if they are wearing short sleeves, most costumes can be accessorized with some sort of wrist bands, which can conceal watches and make the costume look "cooler" at the same time!
Parents should be firm, no watch on their wrist, no trick or treating.
