Describe your Halloween celebration idea:
Halloween party fun foods:
Serve dip for vegetables in a "Head" made of cabbage.
Make bones from breadstick dough and serve with pizza sauce for dipping.

What steps should be taken to organize this celebration?
DIP HEAD - Hollow out a cabbage head and fill with favorite dip for vegetables. Make a face on the front of the cabbage using cut pieces of vegetables (red pepper for lips, carrot for nose, etc.) Use slightly undercooked ramen noodles for hair (toothpicks hold everything onto the cabbage). Place on a large platter, surrounded by vegetables. The kids and adults all got a kick out of this!

BONES AND BLOOD - Use refrigerated breadstick dough to make bones. Ball up the ends of each section slightly, making sure the ends are fatter than the straight part. Use a scissors to snip the end about 1/4". Bake as directed. Serve with warm pizza sauce.

Additional comments:
Make up a menu using the Halloween theme. Even more "ordinary" foods can be given names to add to the fun. For example: Nacho chips and salsa become Bat Wings and Witches' Stew.
