This is a huge site which links kids to many different resources on the internet, has a very extensive kid-friendly dictionary tool with thorough entries as well as word puzzles and games -type in /dictionary plus after the url to go directly there-and a whole variety of information related to science, geography and the like. This site is also the home of B.J. Pinchbeck's Homework Helper, a site started by a 9 year-old boy in 1996. B.J. still runs this site, organizing hundreds of educational sites on the web into 13 categories, and making sure they are full of good content and easy to use.
