Description of tip for starting the college search:
Don't forget to use the internet to your advantage when gathering information on colleges. One of the best all-round sites is Review.com. It gives great information on individual colleges - location, size, admissions, financials - everything first-timers want to know. It also gives a fairly accurate assessment of a student's chances of being admitted into specific colleges. Also an excellent resource for tips on resumes, interviews, applications, essays and SATs.

In the site, click on Colleges and go into any of the pull-down items. Take time to fill out questionnaires as "counselor-o-matic" will be an important resource!

Other comments or suggestions:
There are many other sites similar to Review.com, but we've found this to be the most accurate and comprehensive, in addition to being easy to use.
