Description of tip or technique:
If your car has been sitting in the sun for an extended period of time, chances are the air will be stifling and the seats will be extremely hot to the touch. For adults, this may seem like a nuisance. But for babies, an overheated car can pose some real dangers. Remember that infants can have trouble breathing in extremely hot or cold temperatures and their delicate skin can easily become scorched from the overheated seats. Luckily, this situation can easily be avoided by planning ahead and leaving a few extra minutes to run the air conditioning or opening the windows to allow the air to circulate before buckling your child into his or her car seat.
