Description:
The Local School Council approves the budget, oversees the School Improvement Plan and hires the Principal.

Duties:
Same as above.

Time needed:
A monthly meeting.

Characteristics/skills needed:
Creativity--Ability to develop new and interesting ideas.
Dependability--Can be counted on to complete tasks.

Lifespan of committee:
2 years

Other comments or suggestions:
The LSC can have various committees such as: Uniform, Discipline, Budget, Bilingual, PTO, etc.
