Description:
Cub Scout Groups need parent volunteers other than the Den leaders to plan special events.
Committee meets once monthly.

Duties:
There are several options -
Treasurer, Award Advancements, Refreshments, Decorations, Secretary, and many miscellaneous functions that need a chair person.

Time needed:
Committee meets once monthly. Time input varies depending on your selected area.

Characteristics/skills needed:
Creativity--Ability to develop new and interesting ideas.
Dependability--Can be counted on to complete tasks.
Resourcefulness--Finds inventive ways to complete a project.

Helpful tools:
A Great Imagination.

Lifespan of committee:
1 year

Personal benefits:
The scouts are a very courteous and appreciative group.

Involving the kids:
Scouts encourage children to do special projects and volunteer time to put in to their community.
