Description:
This committee is responsible for decorating various bulletin boards throughout the school, as needed by teachers.

Duties:
Design and decorate one or more bulletin boards.

Time needed:
This depends upon the assignment. You may be responsible for decorating a board once during the school year, or changing it every month.

Characteristics/skills needed:
Creativity--Ability to develop new and interesting ideas.
Dependability--Can be counted on to complete tasks.

Helpful tools:
Resources for creating a design such as:

border

construction paper

cut-outs

letters

pictures

Many schools keep a ready supply of materials available.

Lifespan of committee:
Depends upon the assignment of the committee.

Personal benefits:
The chance to use your creativity and help with a positive school appearance.

Involving the kids:
Kids can help design and decorate.
