Briefly describe why this character trait or technique is helpful:
There are so many things happening at schools every hour of the day. If your committee is in need of a certain room of the school in order to get something done or hold an event, it helps to have good negotiation skills. You may negotiate with parents who volunteer to help coach, to help sell concessions during games, to help with selling products to raise money for school, or even to plant and maintain a memory garden. Everyone needs to feel good about decisions made or actions to be taken in order for committee participation to continue. Ultimately, you canÆt always please everyone, but the ability to negotiate for a ôwin-winö outcome is a great characteristic to have as a leader.
