Briefly describe why this character trait or technique is helpful:
People who offer their time to serve on a committee want to feel good about helping. They want to feel ownership over their little part of the overall project. And yet, they do not want to feel inundated with work. One who delegates evenly divides up the work necessary to accomplish the project, noting who has special talents and abilities. This leader makes sure not to keep a lot of the work for him/herself. A leader could get really burned out this way! When work is delegated, everyone feels as though they had a part in the outcome.
