Briefly describe why this character trait or technique is helpful:
It takes a lot of hard work by many people to make an event succeed. In order for these people to know what to do and when to do it, the committee leader must be able to clearly communicate all the details of the event. He or she will work with all the people on the committee and that often means dealing with a vast array of personalities and levels of enthusiasm. A leader with excellent people skills can bring parents together and instill in them the desire to work on the committee again next year.
