Briefly describe why this character trait or technique is helpful:
Half of the overhead in being a school-leader is managing people and reminding them of tasks. Though is sometimes feels like herding cats, planning and executing events just takes a very organized person and can-do attitude.

Other comments or suggestions:
80% is having an organized personality and attention to details. The other 20% - rely on the tools found on the Internet.

1) email distribution groups - Yahoo and Google both have them for free and they are great for shooting off mass reminders and notices.
2) web-based group collaboration - Qlubb (www.qlubb.com) is a great site where you can create a sign-up sheet for events and have them automatically fire off reminders! Half the work is done!
