Describe this playground safety tip:
Make sure that playground equipment doesn't have peeling, chipping or cracking paint. Many playgrounds with older equipment have "unsafe" levels of lead in painted surfaces.

Other comments or suggestions:
Encouraging kids not to put their mouths on the playground equipment or their hands in their mouths is always helpful as well.
