4 Star Dog Breed Rating

Size range:
Small: 10-20 inches; 15-30 pounds.

Kid-tolerance scale:
Excellent

Average lifespan:
14 years

Overall behavior of breed:
This is a very active, affectionate and loyal dog. He is also a good watch dog. He is so much fun to play with and teach tricks.

Explain why this breed was good/not good with your kids:
He is good with kids because he likes action and being around it. He loves to chase balls, etc. and learn new tricks.

Typical colors:
white

Does this breed shed?
No

Special grooming needs:
His hair needs to be brushed at least once a week unless he is outdoors all the time; then more often. He shouldn't be bathed very often as his coat will lose its oil. My dog gets a haircut about every seven weeks.

Daily exercise requirements:
He really likes exercise. He needs to be walked at least once a day for 30 minutes. I know not everyone can do that, but they really love to walk no matter how tired they are!

Other comments or suggestions
He is an easy dog as long as your lifestyle fits his needs. I would get him trained when he is a pup. He is very easy to potty train.....smart dog!
