Explain why this breed was good/not good with your kids:
Great Danes can be great family pets when introduced to kids and a variety of people early on. Obedience training is a must. Tug-of-war or other aggressive games should never be played. The size of the dog can be intimidating to both small kids and small adults (and even some big adults), but most Great Danes are very friendly.
