Size range:
Extra Large: 40 inches and up; 65 pounds and up.

Kid-tolerance scale:
Excellent

Average lifespan:
10-12 years

Overall behavior of breed:
Lots of energy, herding dog

Explain why this breed was good/not good with your kids:
Allows the kids to sit on him. Loves attention. Plays with the kids and lets the kids dress him up. He has never groweled or tried to bite, even when he has been hurt.

Typical colors:
Gray and white. Mine is honey colored.

Does this breed shed?
Yes

Special grooming needs:
He is sent to the groomer every six to eight weeks. In the summer his coat is kept short.

Daily exercise requirements:
Lots of energy, so need room to romp and play. Walks every day
