Small: 10-20 inches; 15-30 pounds.

Kid-tolerance scale:
Very Good

Overall behavior of breed:
Friendly, happy dog.

Explain why this breed was good/not good with your kids:
Our puppy (now almost a year) is quite content to be doing whatever we are doing, whether it's going to the park or for a ride in the car. Very social animal, loves to meet people and be petted by children.

Typical colors:
Sable, black & white, or peach & white

Does this breed shed?
No

Special grooming needs:
The cavachon is a hybrid: Bichon crossed with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. So the coat can vary, it does require some grooming. Brushing every other day if hair is kept long.

Daily exercise requirements:
Does need some exercise, even if it's just playing fetch in the house. Loves to chase my son around.
