High pain tolerance, very calm, not an aggressive dog, will bark, but not over-protective. Very friendly to strangers.

Explain why this breed was good/not good with your kids:
Tolerates the "poking-prodding" aspects of children. Hardy in size and shape, can handle the rough housing of a boy who thinks he is a great pillow. Not protective of food.

Brindle, red brindle, white, and combos of white and the colors listed.

Yes

Special grooming needs:
None, just keep the wrinkles and folds of skin clean and dry. Wipe regularly.

Daily exercise requirements:
Very little. A 5-10 minute walk is more than enough to tire them out :) These dogs are great pets for apartments.
