4 Star Suggestion Rating

Description:
Next time your child is involved in a sport or contest and doesn't win, make a special "trophy" of your own. To do this, take an ice cream cone (sugar cone) and flip it upside down in a small bowl so that the point is facing up toward the ceiling. Next, surround the cone with little scoops of ice cream and put a scoop on top of the point. Lastly, take a can of whipped cream and draw a big number 1 on the front of the cone. Give this to your child and show him/her that she is number one. It's a tasty and fun way to reward everyone.

Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School

Other comments or suggestions:
Chocolate syrup and sprinkles will help you to write other things on the cone (like "winner"). Simply outline the word in syrup and then put on the sprinkles. When they stick, you will have a colorful message!
