Description:
Sports are meant to be competitive. And ask anyone who has ever played a game, there is nothing like winning. But sometimes you win and sometimes you donĘt, so it's also important to teach our children to be gracious team players.

If your child plays on team sports, teach them to be gracious and humble whether they win or lose. When they lose, they should shake hands with the winner and commend their efforts on a job well done. And when they win, they should thank their opponents for a good game. Winners should glow from their triumphs but not gloat over their victories.

Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
