Description:
What's more fun than a neighborhood softball game? A neighborhood softball game and a neighborhood BBQ.

Playing softball with your neighbors and their kids is a fun way to get to know each other better. Find a nearby field or the biggest backyard. Organize into teams and you're ready to play ball.

The toddlers of the group can have fun with a wiffle or koosh ball and bat. The winning team can BBQ the hot dogs and hamburgers. The losers have to supply the chips and soft drinks.

Other comments or suggestions:
You can make your own gold, silver and bronze medals with construction paper and ribbons.
Or rewards can be food based: ice cream, cookies, and chips.
Or rewards can be chore based: 1 free night no dishes, 1 free day of not making your bed, 1 extra hour of TV time.
Have fun with it. Let the family decide beforehand what today's Olympic rewards will be.
