Equipment:
Volleyball court
Volleyball net
Playground ball (any ball about the size of a volleyball to a basketball)

Description:
Play is similar to volleyball, except the ball is caught and then thrown back over the net (rather than hit back over the net). Points are scored by the throwing team when the ball touches the ground on the receiver's side of the court. Points are scored by the catching team when the ball is thrown into the net or thrown out of bounds.

Other comments or suggestions:
This game was played by my son's P.E. class. It was a lot of fun and does not take quite as much skill as volleyball. It will help if the ball is somewhat soft: makes the ball much easier to throw and catch. Many variations are also possible.
