Cost:
As much money and entertainment as it takes. Most stores will donate. City organizations and churches should also be included.

Description:
Mayor, Boards of Education, Governor and County Officials should set parade date. Each grade to make parade floats for teachers to ride on including substitutes, bus drivers, all adult school employees of all surrounding schools. Parents should assist preparing festivities, bands, music, dancing to show teachers that their dedication & expertise, counseling, nursing, working overtime to console our kids is not in vain. "We, the city of ______, do thank you all," etc.

Preparation:
County, city, Chamber of Commerce, city leaders, parents, students, the councilmen, police dept. would call meeting to set date, place, forum, schedule, activities, dinner and solicit donations of flowers, gifts, any awards, presentations, theme for floats and prized for best floats. Appoint members, parents, students to donate time, money, or space.

Other comments or suggestions:
Students and parents can rise to "thank" teachers personally for inspiring, long suffering, home visits, insisting students do their work in school.
