Cost:
Set aside a small amount each month. Check first for donations.

Description:
Instead of celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, try doing a little something each month to let teachers know they are appreciated.

Preparation:
Assign a different month to a group of volunteers. Give each group examples, or let them come up with their own creative idea.
Depending on the size of the "little something," either place in mailboxes or designate an area, such as the Teacher's Lounge, for their monthly treat.

September - an apple, pencil & pad of paper

October - small pumpkin, Halloween candy

November - small spice or cinnamon candles, spice or cinnamon potpourri

December - candy canes, small ornaments

January - microwave popcorn (Superbowl theme), can of chicken noodle soup with a note, "Stay healthy!"

February - box of candy hearts, red pencils

March - green mints, Leprechaun stickers

April - pack of seeds, Easter candy

May - flowers

Spring - themed notepads

June - bottle of children's bubbles, small tubes of sunscreen or lip balm
